Raoul Dufy - Artist's proof from 1915 for the Bianchini house - Ferrier

Artist's proof produced by Raoul Dufy for Maison Bianchini - Ferrier, a silk factory founded in 1888 in Lyon. This proof bears the stamp rd - bianchini - ferrier in black ink at the bottom right, it is also countersigned and numbered by the master craftsman technician mr atuyer n° 51138. This work was carried out by raoul duffy in the artistic collaboration framework for wallpaper studies. Charles bianchini promotes collaborations with artists. The longest of these collaborations is certainly that of Raoul Dufy (previously with Paul Poiret), who signed an exclusive contract with this Lyon silk house and was its designer and artistic director from 1912 to 1928.
