Chairs circa 1950

Set of two useful shaped chairs. Rare chairs with a tubular structure in cast aluminum forming a single piece, arcuate base, rear support brackets, base, seat posts and curved backrest, truncated conical seat in wood covered with an almond green laminate and lined with an aluminum rod. High. 82 cm - width. 38 cm - prof. 48 cm. This model was exhibited at uam, union of modern artists and it is reproduced in the uam catalog of the exhibition held at the center georges pompidou in paris. One of the two chairs is in perfect original condition. The other has its seat not fixed. I did not place modern screws in it, wanting to keep it in its original state. It would therefore need to be restored (so to speak). It is also in very good original condition with a micro-spot of red paint on its seat (see photo detail). Acquired in the mid-1980s from a merchant on rue de Charonne in Paris (75011) and preserved as is. The seat was already separated from the structure.
