Diabolo vase in marbled lacquered wood Art Deco

This beautiful vase is very original: solid wood, with a fine and slender "diabolo" shape and beautifully lacquered to give it a marbled, veined appearance. Its organic appearance and clean lines make it a vase quite in the art deco aesthetic. But it is impossible for me to certify that it is from that time, so I will give a fairly wide range that would go from the 30s to the 70s. It is well balanced, being heavier at the bottom, because less dug, it remains well stable. It can serve as a decorative object as such, or you can put dried flowers or a few ears of wheat for example (no flowers requiring water, because the wood would be damaged I think). It is in good condition, neither crack nor shine but shows some slight signs of its age: a lack of lacquer under the base of the vase (by gain of conscience I passed a little varnish in this place to avoid any possible more significant flaking of the lacquer), two small abrasions, one on the high edge, the other on the low edge, but they are "melted" in the lacquered decoration and are seen very little (much less than in the photo in very close-up!). This vase is 31 cm high, 7.5 cm in diameter at the bottom and top, about 4.5 cm in diameter in the center, where the vase is thinnest. It weighs about 240g.
