1970’s mid century tall chest of drawers with mirror by Schreiber

This is a tall chest of drawers with the added feature of a compartment at the top, with a round mirror in the lid. Typical of the schreiber style. Simple clean design with their trademark wood grain formica. Founded in 1957 by chaim schreiber, schreiber furniture is an interesting british success story. The company was one of the biggest names in furniture in the 70s, rivalling g plan and other well known manufacturers. In 1973 they added fitted kitchen to their range, and created 280 schreiber furniture centre shops throughout uk. Size. Width 61cm X depth 43cm X height 106cm. Condition: Very good mid century condition, only minor signs of wear reflecting age and use. We make sure that any damage - no matter how minor - will be detailed in this description.
