Vintage French oyster plate from Elchinger

Oyster plate in white and blue ceramic depicting oysters, mussels and clams. It has capacity for 7 oysters. It from the famous elchinger house. Céramiques elchinger is a family business that wendelin elchinger (1809-1895) founded in 1834 on nancy. He transformed the tile factory inherited from his father which was founded around 1792. Production was initially dedicated to culinary pottery. Eating oysters is a pleasure, but doing it in one of these dishes is a real "plaisir", it is bringing the art de table to your home.
