Antique brocante ladies victorian desk

Late victorian mahogany inlay ladies desk 1890. A late 19th century antique freestanding english ladies kidney shaped desk, the kidney shaped top having a yellow leather writing surface decorated with gilding, with a brass moulding running along the edge of the top, a combination of four shaped drawers and one larger middle drawer, all with the original ornate brass handles, on elegant legs decorated with lovely quality brass mounts. The desk is overal made from beautiful dark mahogany but the drawers are constrating in walnut and satinwood inlay shell design. This desk is an eye catching piece and would a beautiful addition to every home. In overal beautiful condition, some light wear to the laether and top edging of the desk.
