Description
Gouache sur papier, by french painter jacques gaston moreau (1903-1994). The artist, often inspired by landscapes bretons, chose here to represent the finistian commune of lesconil, and more precisely its wild coast. On both sides of the stêr, colorful barques are patiently waiting for their next getaway. In this natural environment, we also discover houses with double chimneys. One of them, on the left, is equipped with blue doors, so characteristic of brittany. We will also note the important place left to rocks and vegetation, on this site that seems preserved. This work is protected by a glass, and is equipped with a golden fin frame, soberly moulded. The artist's signature is affixed to the bottom right on the corniche, which spans the estuary. The blue of heaven, even if dotted with a few clouds, and the clarity of the sea, are an invitation to come and discover this corner peaceful in particular, and the bigouden country in general. ******** Period: 20th. Perfect condition. Ref: 183 s.
