Glass vase

Very large blue & green glass vase with drawn lobes. Period: ca. 1960-1970. This vase catches the eye thanks to its colors and its large size. The vase is azure blue at the top and becomes greener towards the bottom. It is very thick blown glass. The edge has three large drawn lobes and the body is adorned with small pulled lobes in a lighter color. Stylistically speaking, it is probably a vase by jan beranek, the famous czech glassmaker. Under the communist regime, his work was nationalized under the škrdlovice glassworks. Sometimes his work was signed or the articles had paper labels (which are often removed over time). Status: good. No damage. Traces of use under the base. Some impurities and inclusions in the glass which is not abnormal. Dimensions: 41 cm high, 19 cm wide mouth, 13 cm wide base, 2.5 kg.
