Old cast iron plate

This plate in cast iron to the Eagle emblem comes from the legs of a table of machine sewing American (winter Adler). It dates from before the 1950s, time when sewing machines were genuine insoulevables furniture! (The plate weighs 4kg) Completely in its own juice, peeling paint, rusted iron. It can settle or cling easily because there are two holes on the top and bottom of the plate. Very decorative (I brought from a trip in the USA 20 years ago) I have 2 plates but they are sold to the room. This object has crossed a few decades, so it bears the traces of his experiences and the soul of those who possessed him...
