Chair 413 WH Gispen for Gispen 50/60

Chair 413, WH Gispen for Gispen, 50s/60s. The 413 chair was designed in the 1930s by WH (Willem Hendrik) Gispen (1890 - 1981) and, with some constructive modifications in the meantime, was produced by the Gispen factory from 1953 to 1966. This model was produced after 1954, which can be deduced from the design of the Bakelite armrest. This one has a semicircular recess at the front, so the open end of the armrest tube is not visible. Before 1955, the construction of armrests was different. This chair is in very good condition and has recently been covered with a sturdy beige upholstery fabric. Size: Seat height: 45 cm.
