Decorative plate/plate "camellia" 1992 by Villeroy & Boch

This collector's botanical plate edition 1992 camellia apertabulis maculata comes from the famous camellia series: each new year, between 1979 and 2002 (except 1983, 1984, 1987 and 1988), villeroy & boch offered its best customers a plate illustrated with a camellia. The original motif was designed by nicolas liez, under the direction of jean-françois boch in the greenhouse of the château de septfontaines around 1849. Size: 9 1/4" diameter (23.5 cm). This botanical plate is in very good vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks. Just wear of time (very small spots on the front back the bottom right side (see photo) but remains beautiful.
