Revamped art deco side table with epoxy coated tropical parrot decor top

Period: ca. 1930-1940, revamped this side table will add a touch of exoticism to your interior. The substructure, which is made up of three scrolled legs that stand on a round base with three legs, is very art deco in design; this was painted black. The scalloped table top has been decorated with a tropical pattern featuring a colorful parrot, orange-toned flowers and green leaves on a black background; it's wallpaper. The top is covered with a thick layer of high gloss epoxy resin. The table is heavy and sturdy. Condition: good. The table has undergone restorations and a complete makeover. The black edges of the table back are not entirely smooth (see photo). There is some slight clouding of the epoxy around the edges, but this is concealed in the pattern (see photo). Dimensions: 58.5 cm high, 59 cm in diameter, 8 kg.
