French vintage oil painting on alabaster

Vintage french oil painting on alabaster, possibly from the late 19th century, coinciding with impresionism, framed with green velvet. In the photos the texture of the alabaster cannot be clearly seen, but the combination of this with the oil paint and the velvet of the frame, make the piece an absolutelyn special work. I have taken the photos vertically because the hangers were placed like that at the back, but I have had the painting horizontally for a long time and it was just beautiful (you can see it in one of the pics) The paint and the alabaster are in perfect condition, but the velvet on the frame is a little worm and in a corner is damage. It measures 59.5 cm (23") high and 34.5 cm (13") wide.
