Salad bowl in fine half-porcelain earthenware, stamped kg (keller & guerin) lunéville france, "fine street light" model. Decor of a tulip and flowers in a bouquet and scattered on a white background. Lobed border, enhanced with a carmine red net. Three slight scratches on the edge, traces of use on the heel (see the detail photos where these defects are marked). A flagship of French earthenware, both fresh and majestic, the "fine street lamp" decor has its origins in Lunéville ca 1750, and has inspired others (eg, "old strasbourg" by Villeroy & Boch, "marlborough" by spode) and was published until May 2022, the date of the permanent cessation of the activities of the Lunéville & Saint-Clément kg manufactures. The salad bowl offered here dates from the 1970s and 80s. Diam. 23.5 cm, h 6.75 cm.
