Amoebe armchair by Verner Panton, vitra

Amazing design alert! This special purple amoebe highback chair is a design by the well-known verner panton. Designed in the 1970s for the well-known 'visiona' exhibition. Today produced by vitra. During a furniture fair, a party boat was transformed into a temporary showroom. It resulted in an awesome 1970s space full of organic panton designs in vibrant colors. The amoebe chair was an absolute eye-catcher there (and still is). It has a flexible backrest that bends over the head and where you can sit comfortably sheltered and you can isolate yourself, especially in large rooms. This armchair sits low to the ground and has a wonderful seating comfort. Thanks to its unique appearance and fine comfort, the design is perfect for both formal and informal settings. Still in a good vintage condition (minimal discoloration on the seam). Equipped with the original purple tonus upholstery. The armchair is marked with a vitra label.
