Former sugar bowl in Baccarat crystal with bird of paradise decoration

Period: ca. Late 19th century. This pair of pots from the famous baccarat company are exquisite. The two lid pots were decorated with the bird of paradise décor including a bird and floral rinses; the decorations are clear and stand out on the frosted background. They stand on a round foot and have a rub on the lid, both in clear crystal. The upper edges are serrated. They are made by the molding process. An epns silver spoon (=electroplated nickel-silver) accompanies each jar. These are probably sugar and/or mustard trees. They are marked with the mention 'baccarat deposited'. This decoration can be dated to the late nineteenth century. Condition: very good. No damage. Size: See photo.
