The sofa is in perfect condition, barely used. Velvet Beige. The frame is in ok condition, undamaged. Information about Cassina The Cassina Soriana Sofa is a design by Afra & Tobia Scarpa. The sofa was designed by the Scarpas in 1969 after they were asked by Cesare Cassina if she wanted to design a sofa in a short time for the trade show in Cologne. The couple did this and with success, in 1970 they won the Compasso D'oro for the Soriana, a leading prize in the world of design. The Soriana quickly became popular and grew into a true design icon.
