Identified as an important figure in the renewal of abstraction in northern europe, corneille gradually moved from 1967 towards a rich and colorful new figuration which coordinates with the pop art taste of the 1960s and 1970s, and exhibited at alongside andy warhol, arman, césar, etc. Superb color lithographic poster by guillaume corneille (1910-2010), born in liège to dutch parents and founding member of the cobra group with asger jorn, karel appel, constant, dotremont, hugo claus, alechinsky or jacques doucet "corneille, recent lithographs", paris, galerie carmen cassé, from 13-6-1973 to 13-07-1973 printing: michel cassé - paris - 1973 - signature in the plate reference: donkersloot catalog raisonné n°344 dimensions: 72 X 39 cm good condition for a poster almost 50 years old, showing no lack.
