Scandinavian teak coffee table F503 - Tove, Edvard Kindt-Larsen - France & Daverkosen & Son - 1950

Magnificent vintage Scandinavian coffee table from the Danish designer couple Edvard & his wife Tove Kindt-Larsen. These two architects were real references in Danish architecture and thus started designing furniture. The manufacturers who were lucky enough to publish their work are Rud, Rasmussen, Soro Stolefabrik and above all France & Daverkosen formerly France & Son who was one of the biggest Danish furniture manufacturers during the 1950s and 1960s. In this case this table, whose model referenced is the model F503 was published by France & Son during the 1950s. Presenting subtle lines and a rare elegance, this coffee table is of a very high quality piece. The table has a "France & Son" stamp under the top.
