Basket in chestnut

Large chestnut basket. Handcrafted by a craftsman vannier. Bottom diameter of the basket: 47 cm. Top diameter of the basket: 61 cm. Depth: 52 cm. This basket or basket is of basque origin (city of aïnhoa). Small story: "basket to weed 'aïnhoa'. These work and use baskets are light, solid and imputrescible, they are entirely handmade. Used in the basque country to weed, pick up mowing and dead leaves." It was only used for interior decoration.
