Old opaline candy with gilding and cut lid

Date: ca. Mid-19th century. A very pretty old candy box with a lid and a unique rub. Sky blue colored glass is opaline, but it's a bit more translucent than many later varieties. It is blown by hand. The lid has cut-outs suitable for the two flat handles that are attached to the edge of the bowl. The lid is adorned with a scalloped edge and a serpentine frotelle adorned with hand-painted golden clover patterns. Rims and strips are also applied with gold paint. State: Very good. No damage. Some small abrasive marks next to one of the ends of the wrist (see photo).
