Description
German baroque frankfurt wardrobe - the so-called "frankfurter wellenschrank" - as the name suggests, the furniture was once produced in frankfurt and the surrounding area, the wardrobe was built, circa 1730. The piece is made of solid spruce structure and veneered with walnut featuring extraordinary patterns. It is supported on five solid rolled legs. The inside reveals three sections with shelves and a hanging bar. Everything fixed together with pegs and holes joinery. The whole has been carefully restored. The wardrobe has regained its old functionality, the doors were straighten and the veneer was completed and glued, the piece was hand-polished. The renovation process took about 250 hours, the piece of furniture presents itself and functions excellently. It is most definitely a piece of furniture very rare and valuable among collectors.
