Old cast iron 14-bar fireplace cradle

Vintage cast iron fireplace cradle with 14 bars. This accessory is placed inside the fireplace and is used to accommodate the logs which, placed slightly high in the hearth, benefit from optimal combustion. This solid support also prevents partially consumed logs from collapsing, thanks to the curved bars which form a good bed of embers. Sold in its own juice with traces of its experience.
