Superb belgian earthenware teapot handmade in the 1950s. Signed by belgian artist sylvain sttublet, known for these beige and brown earthenware productions that feature mascarons generally representing masks, a human figure, sometimes frightening whose original function would be to ward off evil spirits. The model we offer is well preserved despite small defects of use. A small snag on the top of the lid and one on the collar. Small defects not very visible once in situation, the teapot remains quite functional. See pictures. Size: Height 26cm. Width 25x17cm.
