Imposing vintage modernist uster by Motoko Ishii for Staff Leuchten 1971

Extraordinary 1970 chrome chandelier designed by motoko ishii and produced by staff leuchten from germany and distributed by lightolier on the american market. This chandelier is equipped with 36 bulbs and globe, the structure is in chromed metal. Motoko ishii is a japanese female lighting designer. From 1965 to 1967 she worked in lighting design offices in finland and germany. Returning to japan in 1968, she established the ishii motoko design office. One of his main projects was the lighting design for the 1975 world expo in okinawa. We put a pair of chandeliers.
