Description
Lot of 2 old collector's plates from the art nouveau era: -the first which comes from the famous french earthenware factory jules vieillard which closed its doors in 1895, it represents a scene from the "peasants of briec" series the bretons -the 2nd which comes from the gien earthenware factory installed in the loire valley since 1821 and which represents "the language of flowers" with a saying at the bottom of the characters. Each plate bears the stamp of the earthenware factory that made it. These plates are very old, they show traces of wear, particularly the 2nd which has a small loss on the border, in principle they should be of interest to collectors. Width 20 cm height 2 cm weight of 2 0, 500kg.
