Description
Nice pair of louis xv-style shepherdess chairs, early 20th century. Structure is patinated beech laked cream carved flowers with different shades in the patina, decoration of florets, resting on 4 feet shell. Completely hand-lined, seated in hair and cushion in goose feathers. The chairs are completely covered with a high-end satin fabric with floral patterns. Pipil finishes and gold decorations. Perfect seating comfort. The fabric has very bright shades, and is in good general condition. Nevertheless, there are some inherent defects due to the time in the fabric, a few small "tasks" on the seats, the whole thing is very discreet as a whole. The armrests of a two-chair are slightly removed. A small tear at the bottom of one of the chairs. A stain on the fabric of the chair under a seat cushion. The armchairs have the polliand signature on the wooden structure on the back. - Dimensions - l 63 X p 68 X h 85 cm. Seat height - 43 cm. Max seat cushion dimensions - l 63 X p 49 X h 13 cm.
