Description
Very beautiful suspension whose globe, in the shape of a straight bell, is in white opaline at the bottom, caramel yellow at the top, iridescent to meet the two colors, and decorated with pretty roses, which gives it a charming romantic, bohemian style. The globe is held together by a metal collar with three small screws. This suspension is complete: golden plastic socket for bulb with large screw base, gold wiring, small hanging ring and metal piton cover. The electrical parts are not original: the cable and socket are much newer than the rest. The globe, seen the shape of the high opening, intended for a screw collar and not for a fastening system with plastic ring, probably dates from the 50s. I tested it, it works, the globe is in very good condition, no shine or lack, just a few small almost invisible marks that testify to its age. The collar, patinated bronze color, does not have corrosion but was probably more golden originally. The piton cover has lost almost all its original gilding, a lacquer would not hurt it. The globe is 16 cm high, and 14.5 cm in diameter at the low opening. The cable is about 17 cm long. The set weighs 600 g.
