Description
Old bridal vase in white porcelain with a floral decoration and gilding characteristic of paris porcelain. In the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, this type of vase was offered to young brides and shamed on the day of the wedding and blessed in the church. It was placed with a bouquet of silk flowers or orange blossom buds in white wax and, often, they were installed under a glass globe to symbolize the marriage of the couple and perpetuate its memory. This vase, large enough for this type of object, is decorated on both sides, which is rare. Very good condition, both in terms of the décor and the porcelain itself. Dimensions: 13x10x6 cm.
