Beautiful large old butler mirror, also called a witch's eye, convex or convex mirror glass in a gold-colored resin frame reminiscent of a porthole, first half of the 20th century, ca 1930. The name butler mirror comes from the fact that a butler could view the reflection of the room without being seen. This copy has a nice size, making it a real eye-catcher in your interior. In very good, almost antique condition, almost 100 years old, the gold frame shows some signs of age in the form of superficial cracks, mainly along the outer edge of the frame and on the back of the frame, but the whole is still nice and sturdy, light mocking on the mirror glass which is common with old mirrors, check the photos for more details! Dimensions: 51cm diameter, 5cm deep, mirror 33cm diameter. Weight: 4, 148kg.
