The Danish teak wall unit, designed by Kai Kristiansen for FM Mobler in the 1960s, shows the mastery of Danish mid-century craftsmanship. The manufacturer’s label is preserved. This vintage bookcase features two cabinets, each with an adjustable tray ,shelf and six shelves, which provide just enough space for storage and books. It is an entirely modular shelving system and can be arranged as needed with an easy system of metal baskets fitting into the rails, moving all parts up and down and interchanging them. This set consists of: - 4 shelves 18 cm deep - 2 shelves D24 cm - 2 cabinets with sliding doors with inner adjustable shelf, and tray H:50/W:86/D:42 cm - 3 painted metal rails 198 cm long each Our team checked the bookcase thoroughly. All components fit together. We have cleaned the wood and protected it with Danish oil. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We try to bring it back to its best look, still considering it is 60 years old. Clients from all around the world have already trusted our work and its fruits. If you are new to vintage furniture, you can contact us for any possible explanations and close-ups of the piece. The set is in excellent vintage condition with minor signs of wear related to its age.
