Frame illustration of a delaunay belleville car by charles martin. At the beginning of 1900, delaunay belleville luxury cars were the french equivalent of rolls. This illustration comes from the 1924 catalogue published by draeger: description of the delaynay belleville chassis followed by an essay on the different ways of bodiing them, by benito, lelong, lepape, martin, ruhlmann. Charles martin, art deco illustrator, has collaborated with vanity fair, harper's bazaar, among others. Gilded painted wood frame and glass protection. Signature: charles martin. Text: sports body test by c. Martin. Draeger, imp. Good vintage condition. Note, the corners of the illustration are damaged. Hole in the wood of the frame to hang it.
