Description
Transition-style louis xv, louis XVI of the late 19th century. This so-called jump chest is worked in rosewood essentially and rosewood to bring contrast in colors. It has a beautiful geometric marquetry (wood frieze). The feet of this dresser are arched, typical of the louis XV style, while its body is straighter, typical of the louis XVI style. The stimulating grooves form a beautiful harmony with the marquetry of this dresser. The bronzes, beautifully chiseled, blend elegantly with the sober work of this dresser. Each of the drawers is compartmentalized into 3 parts by wooden panels that can be removed. Finally, a beautiful grey marble grained with white with a jump and throat is placed on this dresser. This marble is marked by a little visible restoration and a slight jump behind below (so invisible and not annoying).
