Louis XVI / Directory chest of drawers

Weekly blond walnut maker from the louis XVI period / directoire bought in 1997 in the saint-honoré auction house in paris. The value was estimated at approximately 25, 000 to 28, 000 french francs (€3, 861 to €4, 268 at the conversion rate of 6.56 frf = €1.00) in 1997 (see photo). The weekly is in excellent condition. In 2016 a parisian cabinetmaker made a complete restoration of the furniture, including the foot to the left back (see photo). The drawer at the bottom is double deep.
