An original tunisian carpet of high quality and exceptional beauty. Hand-woven and made of sheep's wool of the highest quality, with a short shiny fleece. Tunisia has long been renowned for weavers' products. Already in antiquity, the greeks loved the tapestries of carthage. Currently, the most beautiful tunisian carpets are available at fairs in tunis, kairuan, tozeur and djerba. The carpet is worn and, for its age, in very good condition. It has tiny traces of use (fringe loss).
