This type of pottery was used to preserve food, oils or other foodstuffs. The material of the piece is rich, it is heavy and very well made. We can see on the photos of details the pretty decoration of the bottom of the cove, at the tip, as well as on the belly of the pitcher on the front, beautiful generous format for this authentic piece, wonderfully preserved.
