Vintage daybed bench 1950

Rare and very pretty daybed bench of the 1950s in oak. No information has been found about this daybed but its modernist style can be reminiscent of designers rené gabriel, pierre guariche or marcel gascoin, rené-jean caillette. Possibility of several positions in sofa, daybed or daybed. The blond oak structure is in good condition. It is made of raw wood and has been completely cleaned and protected by a matte colorless water-repellent oil. The mattress and cushions are original and covered with a rockabilly fabric that is in poor condition but they can be restored and covered with the fabric of your choice to fit your interior. As can be seen in the latest photos, they had already been covered in the late 1970s. This fabric was unfortunately damaged and stained and has therefore been removed but allows to realize the possibilities for its new restoration. 135cm X 82cm X 70cm height in bench. 210cm X 82cm X 42cm height in bed.
