19th century sewing worker's work table

Pretty little storage table, in solid wood, with simple and elegant lines. The tray (magnifying glass of something, i'm not a specialist) lifts to reveal a compartmentalized locker and under this locker, a large drawer. It is a piece of furniture which probably dates from the first half of the 19th century (without absolute certainty however), in a charles warped and cracked and has a small gap which has been filled. A small gap also filled under one foot. The key to close the upper part is missing. The structure, although still solid, shakes a little, it seems to me that this is due to half of a foot which was broken and repaired, we note the presence of nails, and thick metal reinforcements under the two arches ( perhaps original, and very useful for the moment). I treated the beetle holes, numerous but which seemed inactive to me, by injecting white vinegar (this is my natural method to replace chemical insecticides). We also note the presence of nails in at least several places: inside a compartment (why?), in an area under the top (why?), and on the crosspiece formed by the feet (there I think that this is to reinforce the central horizontal crosspiece)! It measures 69 cm in height, the top measures 53 cm by 41 cm, the base forms a rectangle on the ground measuring 47.5 cm by 38.5 cm. Given the thinness of the feet in relation to the weight and volume of the upper part, it is impossible for me to send it by colissimo, it would be too risky.
