Description
Empty bronze pocket, with a depiction of a roaring tiger. Very very nice patina 2 shades of brown and pretty glossy satin... Signature on the right on a ledge (valton) faded but visible. And readable with the... O.n... Slightly unmarked original, . Beautiful and rare collector's item. Length = 18.5 cm X width 12 cm X thickness 1.5 cm. Charles valton was particularly interested in felines. His bronzes roaring lion, walking lion, wounded lioness. Are among his best-known works. Charles valton (1851-1918).
