Description
The ceramics are in perfect condition, intact. No accidents. It is heavy, and very beautiful, its contact is very mineral, and when you pass the hand on it, you have the feeling of touching a pebble. The enamel is matte, very textured, like a rather fine lava, dark grey almost black, the decoration of bird and plants very pictorial and very free was traced at the tip, in hollow, then enhanced with applats of primary colors (blue, red, and yellow). Very nice organic free shape in a triangle. Simplicity very raw and deliberately artisanal. The ceramics come from st. Paul's abbey in wisques, in the upper france in pas-de-calais, which was founded in 1889 as a pat by benedictine monks who practice the art of ceramics. It is marked on the reverse at the hollow tip "wisques" and has also retained its original label, and is numbered. It dates back to the 1950s. Wisques ceramics from this period are not common on the market.
