Rare multifunctional sofa/daybed with adjustable headrest 1960, restored

The sofa is functional because it can also be used as a daybed. The sofa is made up of 2 parts, 1 of which is separate. This segment is suitable as a seat, headrest and armrest, because an ingenious system is attached to the front of this element. The system consists of 2 foldable and adjustable flap hinges and 2 casters. If you wish to adjust the height of the headrest, this is possible by pulling on the headrest. Nosag/zigzag springs are mounted at the bottom of the sofa, these springs are connected by means of: a square flat steel strip and hooks, this construction is very innovative and seating comfort is guaranteed. For the upholstery we chose ocean blue, so we reupholstered the sofa with ocean blue woven fabric. The sofa rests on conical teak wood legs. The sofa/daybed is unique because of the very ingenious techniques and restoration.
