1980s Nanna Ditzel side chair for Fredericia, Denmark

A lovely side chair designed by nanna ditzel, manufactured by fredericia in denmark around 1980. This iconic piece is made of high quality light brown plywood on a black lacquered metal base. It’s the tall backrest and curved armrests that create the elegant style that is highly recognizable for ditzel’s designs! The narrow perforations in the backrest are a wonderful and iconic detail. The seat is upholstered in cognac coloured leather. The chair remains in good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a wonderful patina.
