Crystal Brutalist lamp by sculptor Cesar Baldaccini (César) for Daum. 1969

Exceptional crystal brutalist table lamp, model "argos" by the famous sculptor césar balbaccini (césar) created for daum in the late 1960s. It was in 1969 under the leadership of jacques daum, that caesar, then a rising figure of the new realists, was invited for a fortnight to work in the nancean crystalry. This collaboration will give birth to a few dozen pieces of great strength and absolutely unpublished. This aubergine-coloured sculptural lamp has its original lampshade.
