Dressing table by Kai Kristiansen

Beautiful teak dressing table model 40 by danish designer Kai Kristiansen, designed in the mid-1960s for Aksel Kjersgaard Denmark. The table is made of mainly solid teak wood, the drawer fronts are equipped with a striking round recessed handle. The drawers on both sides appear to be the same, however, one of the two drawers is divided into two separate drawers one above the other while retaining the striking round handle. A wonderful detail. The three sectioned mirror is mounted on top and can be folded closed. The angle of the mirror can be easily be adjusted by sliding the teak blocks up and down on the rear of the mirror over the chromed tube to which the mirrors are attached. A timeless and high end quality piece full of lovely detailing in wonderful condition, only minor oxidation to the original mirrors otherwise excellent condition.
