Carved stone head sculpture

Very nice carved stone head from the 50s. One thinks of a scandinavian deity or a greek poseidon. The face of this sculpture is made of white stone gradually turning into dark pink stone (perhaps granite?) on the back. Its size is a little smaller than a real head. This sculpture is very heavy, about 11 kilos. The base is made of exotic wood. Atypical and very interesting sculpture, 40 centimeters high.
