Description
The eight plates are in perfect condition, no damage, no misses or shrapnel. They are all marked on the back of the digoin-sarreguemines earthenware stamp. These are the hollow plates of the "choc" service, each service, each décor having a traditional name. The sarreguemines factories were active from 1790 to 2007, and were located in france, in moselle. These manufactures, created during the revolution, were very famous, and even counted napoleon I among their most loyal customers in 1800, at the very beginning of the 19th century. This service dates from the first half of the 20th century. The plates are beautiful off-white, and the stencil pattern of a branch of roses is centered in the bottom of the plate. A beautiful lightness of the drawing, combined with a high quality of enamel are the secret of pretty dishes...
