Description
Part of an old housewife in alfenide monogram bi, From the goldsmith Charles Halphen hallmarks alfenide and goat's head ch 84. Alfenide, also called white metal, is an alloy of copper, zinc, iron and nickel that the Halphen brothers created made known in 1850. This factory was bought by Chistofle in 1880. Composed of: 10 forks, 12 soup spoons, 9 small spoons, 6 dessert spoons, 6 dessert forks, 1 sauce spoon and 1 cream spoon, in excellent condition.
