57696 Made in Europe Glass craftsmanship To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Fiam presents "Archistar": a collection of mirrors resulting from a collaboration with four of the greatest international designers. Both a look into the past and a dive into the present, Philippe Starck offers us a large rectangular mirror reminiscent of old beveled crystal frames. The Cadre mirror is the umpteenth demonstration of how Fiam makes technology one of its distinctive characteristics. To be able to manufacture this large mirror, the company had to create a factory to fuse the glass at a temperature of 1000°. The curved glass frame is reflective: in perfect continuity with the mirror, it extends the reflection. The curved lines of the frame distort reality, making it fascinating to contemplate. The world is projected there, reflected there, recreated there: no one can resist its magical effect!
