These beautiful rugs are handmade, flatwoven kilims woven in the early 21st century, circa 2010. It is unused and so is in excellent condition. The design features a bold yellow background that has been decorated with an intricate decorative geometric medallion. This has then been framed by a layered border with a repeating geometric pattern. The geometric patterns paired with the elegant colour palette make this modern kilim a great accent rug for any home. At the moment these two pieces are joined at the fringe however they can be separated to make two individual area rugs, alternatively they can be left together, for styling as a runner rug, as seen in the imagery. These area rugs were woven with fine, hand-spun wool & cotton that has been dyed with organic dyeing techniques, used for generations. Woven with traditional flatweave techniques that have also been used for centuries. The techniques and materials used in the construction of these unique kilims make them hard-wearing and so suitable for any high traffic area in your home.
