Engraving nineteenth signed Lafosse

Jean Baptiste Adolphe Lafosse (1810–1879) was a French painter and lithographer known for his portraits. Superb monochrome lithograph nineteenth framed and under glass signed lafosse lower left. Depicts a charming young girl blowing soap bubbles. In good general condition, there are some traces of time not very visible including a small halo at the bottom right of the painting and a small snag to the right of the painting (see photo). Note that the photos sometimes show reflections on the glass. The back is very clean. Wooden frame painted black. Ready to hang on the wall. Dimensions: 58 X 68cm with frame. Frame thickness: 2 cm. Weight: 2.6 kg. Very neat shipment!.
